CINDERELLA

Big Cat, the education division of HarperCollins, asked me to contribute a play to their reading scheme.  The play is written in rhyme and the character names are colour-coded.  Hopefully schools will use the play in the classroom.  Perhaps theatre schools will use the play too.  It can, of course, be read or acted out.

The play follows the traditional story of Cinderella, and was, in fact, adapted from an earlier version I wrote for the PLAY THEATRE: CINDERELLA, published by Kingfisher.  Using rhyme moves the story along at a good pace, and allows for considerable humour.
