THE PORRIDGE PINCHER

This is the third play I have contributed to the Big Cat reading scheme, part of HarperCollins.  It tells the story of Goldilocks, offering nice roles to a storyteller, as well as the three Bears and Goldilocks.  The character names are colour-coded to help reluctant readers, and my hope is that it will prove useful in the classroom as a reading aid, but also because it is fun.  Rhyme helps the story move along quickly, and gives opportunities for lots of humour.  The play can either be read in the classroom or acted out.
